tool for fleet management where data about vehicle position is compared
to various other information for generating statistics and management

Evaluation of deviations from the schedule is very important not only for planning, but also for passenger satisfaction. It is possible to generate analyses based on many comparisons with various time scopes and various sets of lines. In practice, this brings very valuable information for planning and management of vehicle traffic. With the use of appropriate transmission technology that ensures transmission of data to the central, these data are processed in real time and compared to other information for further use. Detection of deviation from the schedule can be automatically sent to information boards, where passengers see when exactly the vehicle will arrive at the given station – Real Time Passenger Information System. Information about deviations from the schedule are used for the system of preemption of public transport vehicles on traffic lights. The right of way is given to the most delayed vehicles.
