 The whole system and individual devices are designed so that their
administration and maintenance are as simple as possible. By choice and
combination of technologies we achieved that the system can be fully
serviced using remote access.
The basic element of device management system is an application
following on-line the status of individual system components not only
from the point of view of operation status, but also from the point of
view of up-to-dateness of versions of installed applications and
firmware. In connection with the database of individual devices, where apart from information about technical parameters, also information about their position is included – an individual vehicle or work station – they create a strong tool for maintenance of such a complex system and significantly decrease the costs of servicing. If it comes to a service intervention, this act is recorded via help-desk into the system and it is possible to monitor these defects. For reason of great complexity of the system, we put emphasis on making servicing and maintenance as simple as possible so that is does not burden the system operator financially or with time requirements. |
